We are truly sorry to hear about your son's illness and we are here to support you in prayer and compassion. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring.
Firstly, it is very important to take your son to see a doctor if you have not already done so. Faith and medicine are not mutually exclusive. While we trust in God's healing power, we also acknowledge the wisdom and knowledge that God has given to medical professionals.
In the Book of Isaiah, it is written: Wherefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a virgin will be with child, and will bring forth a son, and they will call him Immanuel. Butter and honey will he eat when he knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good. For before the child knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land whose two kings you abhor shall be forsaken. Isaiah 7:14-16 WEB.
Jesus is the Immanuel, meaning God is with us. It is through Him that we can approach God and it is in His name that we pray. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together for your son:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. Please touch this child, break the fever, and restore his health. Give ### peace and strength during this time, and guide the hands of the medical professionals who are caring for her son.
We pray that this situation will be used for Your glory and that ### and her family will draw closer to You through this trial. We believe in the name of Jesus that You are a miracle worker and a healing God.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in God's Word, trusting in His promises. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 WEB.
We are also admonished to "Call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB
Also, if ### is not the mother, then the mother of the child should be the one to call for the elders of the church.
Trust in God's love and care for you and your son during this time.
