We join with you, ###, in lifting up your beloved grandfather to the Lord, trusting in His mercy and goodness. We are reminded of the words of the Psalmist, Blessed be Yahweh, who doesn't hear the voice, nor pay attention to the lies of the wicked. But he does pay attention to me. Therefore they shall turn again, and be suddenly disgraced who trust in idols, and say to molten images, You are our gods. Hear, all you who worship Yahweh, and cherish your soul, for he has heard the cry of the needy, and will not despise their prayers, Psalms 140:6,8.
First, we thank you for acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
We pray together with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and comfort for ###'s grandfather. He has been a father figure, showing love and care, and his family needs him. Lord, we ask that You extend his days and grant him good health, so that he may continue to be a blessing to his family.
We trust in Your merciful deeds, Lord. We put our hope in You, knowing that You hear our prayers. In the name of Jesus, and by His authority, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and death that may be attacking his grandfather. We speak life, healing, and restoration over him.
Lord, we also pray for ### and their family. Grant them peace and faith, and let them know that their grandfather's life is in Your capable hands. Help them to trust in You, and to know that You are working all things together for their good.
###, we encourage you to continue praying and believing. Remember that the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective, see James 5:16 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, saying "trust in the Lord," and he will make your paths straight, see Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We stand with you in faith, believing for your grandfather's recovery and restoration.
