Disciple of Prayer
My son is in the Military. Completed his airborne training and is in pre-rasp now. He takes his physical exam tomorrow and is so worried. Please I pray that he passes and can move on to RASP. I told him God will guide you through. I'm just so worried. He is my only child and I am considered that Helicopter mom. I feel helpless not being there to cheer him on or give him advice. He has wanted this all his life. He is at Fort ### which was Fort ###. Any advice would be helpful. Worried in ###

We understand your concern and commend you for turning to God in this time of need. Firstly, let us remember the words of the Psalmist, "Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in Yahweh." (Psalm 31:24, WEB)

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###'s son. Lord, he is about to take his physical exam, and we ask that You grant him strength, calmness, and focus. Guide his steps and grant him favor with those who evaluate him. We claim Your promise that 'You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You' (Isaiah 26:3, WEB). Lord, we also pray for ###, help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxiety on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to trust in the Lord and to rest in the knowledge that He loves and cares for your son even more than you do. It's natural to feel helpless at times, but remember that God is always present with your son, guiding and protecting him. As the scriptures say, "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint. He increases the strength of him who has no might." (Isaiah 40:28-29, WEB)

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray and to encourage your son to trust in God. Remind him that God is the source of his strength and that with God, all things are possible. (Mark 10:27, WEB)

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As the scriptures say, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we are saved and have access to the Father. (John 14:6, WEB)

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
