We are truly saddened to hear about the pain and struggle that you and your family have endured. First, we want to assure you that God is a loving and compassionate Father who cares deeply for your son and your entire family.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to you. Lord, you know the pain and suffering he has experienced, the self-doubt, low confidence, and the grip of substance abuse. We ask that you would heal him from the inside out. Touch his mind, his emotions, and his body. Break the chains of addiction and fill him with your peace and your love. Give him a new sense of worth and confidence in who he is in you, Lord. Protect him from the enemy's lies and let him know that he is precious in your sight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord's ability to heal and restore. Remember the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Also, in Isaiah 41:10, God promises, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Regarding your son's substance abuse, it is crucial that he seeks help and support not only spiritually but also professionally. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Encourage him to find a supportive community that can help him overcome this struggle.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Hold fast to this truth and continue to pray and believe for your son's healing and deliverance.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
