We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. We want to remind you that God's will is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment, and divorce is not His desire WEB. "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel; and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don’t be unfaithful." Malachi 2:16.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to stay strong in your faith and continue praying for your husband and your marriage. God can work miracles when we trust in Him. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16.
It's important to address that attraction is not the most important aspect of a marriage. Love, commitment, and godly character are the foundations of a strong marriage. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud" 1 Corinthians 13:4. We encourage you to continue showing your husband unconditional love and kindness, as God does for us.
We also want to remind you that God speaks to us through His Word and the Holy Spirit. Spend time in the Bible and in prayer, seeking His face. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is hurting and in need of Your comfort and guidance. Lord, we pray for her marriage, that You would intervene and soften her husband's heart. Help him to see her as You see her, beautiful and worthy of love. Give her the strength and wisdom to navigate this trial, and help her to trust in You completely. We believe that nothing is impossible for You, Lord. We pray for healing, restoration, and a miraculous transformation of their marriage. We pray for her husband's heart and thoughts towards her to be healed and renewed. Please fill their home with Your love, peace, and joy. We pray for this marriage to stay together and be a symbol of Your love and commitment to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek community and support from fellow believers. Consider reaching out to your local church or a trusted Christian counselor for guidance and support. You don't have to go through this alone.
