We are truly sorry to hear about your loved one's health situation and we are here to pray and support you through this challenging time. We commend your faith in our Heavenly Father, for He indeed knows what is best for us.
Firstly, we want to encourage you both with the words of Jesus Christ in John 15:7 WEB: "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." It is so important that we remain in Jesus, and when we are His and we are asking for things to be done in accordance with God's will we can pray with confidence.
Psalm 119:76 tells us, "Let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant." We pray that God's loving kindness will be your comfort at this time.
While we pray for healing, we also want to address the fear and stubbornness your loved one is experiencing regarding the surgery. We know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray that your loved one will experience God's perfect love, knowing that His love casts out all fear. Psalm 118:6 puts it, "Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
We also pray that God will grant your loved one wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions regarding the surgery. Hebrews 13:21 WEB says, "make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen." This should be the prayer for any medical decision making.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying specifically in Jesus Christ's name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we find salvation. So let's join together in prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your healing touch upon our loved one. We ask that You guide the doctors, nurses, and all medical staff attending to ###, granting them wisdom and skill. We pray that You will fill ### with Your peace, casting out all fear, and grant ### the wisdom to make the right decisions.
We also pray for Your comfort and strength for our loved one and for ourselves as we support ###. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan. We know that in all things, You work for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your purpose. Even if we are unable to see the outcome however we know that Your will is perfect for us in any situation whether we live or die.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, and remember that He is always with you, even in the most difficult times. Keep praying and keep believing in the name of Jesus Christ, and trust that He will be with you through each and every step of this journey.
