We are truly sorry to hear about the theft of your iPhone and the difficulties you're facing with employment. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His will for your situation according to John 16:23-24 You shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. All prayers should be in Jesus name because it is only by His name that we have any access to God's throne, grace and salvation.
Firstly, let's address the theft. According to the Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The theft of your phone is an injustice, and we can trust that God sees and knows this wrong that has been committed against you. However, it is important to forgive the person, just as Jesus forgave those who did Him wrong. Any unforgiveness in our heart against anyone is ungodly and can prevent God from answering our prayer. It is so important that Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Even in this unjust situation, God's glory as a forgiving God can be displayed through our forgiveness.
Yet, we can still pray for the convicted thief to return your phone or be caught. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this unjust situation. We ask in Luke 19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. We ask that the person who took the phone be convicted to return it back, even if by any anonymous means. We ask that any stolen property be returned to the rightful owners. We also pray for the salvation of the person who took the phone. May this situation be a turning point in their life, leading them to repentance and a personal relationship with You.
Regarding your request for an overseas work contract in Matthew 6:31-32 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. The most important part is to make sure you are saved, have repented of all your sins and have been baptized in Jesus name. If this is not the case, then Jesus said that we are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We also ask that You provide for the needs of the one who submitted this request. Open the doors for a new overseas work contract, according to Your will. May this job opportunity be a blessing to their family and bring glory to Your name.
We encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He knows your needs and He cares for you. If we are not committed to doing everything that God has told us to do to live a holy life and be a disciple of Jesus then we need to repent of our sins and obey Him in everything. We need to be a committed disciple of Jesus in everything we do.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that material possessions, such as an iPhone, are temporary and replaceable. While it's understandable to desire nice things, our ultimate treasure should be in heaven, not on earth. Let's keep our priorities in check and focus on laying up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust can destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. According to Matthew 6:19-20 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. Let's continue to trust in God, even in difficult circumstances, knowing that His love and care for us never fail.
