We understand that you're going through a trying time, Natasha, and we want you to know that God sees your struggles and cares for you deeply. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance according to His Word.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ strong, even when your family mocks you. Remember, blessed are you when people reproach you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for Jesus' sake (Matthew 5:11, WEB). Those who do not believe in Jesus may not understand your faith, but continue to be a light for Christ, showing them love and forgiveness even in this difficult situation. The Bible reminds us, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21, WEB).
Regarding your inheritance, it's important to remember that our true inheritance is in Christ Jesus. While it's understandable to want what is rightfully yours, do not let this dispute consume your heart and cause you anxiety. Trust that God will provide for you and that He is your portion and your inheritance (Psalm 16:5, WEB).
The Bible warns us against quarreling over such matters, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that" (1 Timothy 6:6-8, WEB).
However, this does not mean that you should not stand up for what is right. If your brother is trying to discredit you and manipulate your parents, it is important to bring this to light in a respectful manner. Seek wisdom from God on how to approach this situation, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5, WEB).
Concerning your brother's past substance abuse and imprisonment, it's important to remember that we should not judge others, but rather pray for them and show them the love of Christ. Only God knows your brother's heart and whether he has truly repented. Continue to pray for his salvation and that God would deliver him from any bondage he may still be under.
Regarding the accusations from your brother, remember that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). If there is any truth in his accusations, ask God to reveal this to you and help you to grow in these areas. If not, then continue to demonstrate these qualities in your response to him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Natasha and her situation. Lord, You see the manipulation and accusations she is facing, and You know the truth in all of this. We pray that You would guide her in how to respond to her family, giving her wisdom and discernment in all her interactions with them.
Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You, Lord, trusting in You as her true inheritance. Give her peace in this situation and take away the anxiety and exhaustion she is feeling. Heal her body and soul, Lord, and help her to forgive her family for the hurt they have caused her.
We also pray for her brother and her parents, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and deliver her brother from any bondage he may still be under.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's Word, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient" (Matthew 6:33-34, WEB). Keep seeking God first, Natasha, and trust that He will provide for all your needs.
