My mother-in-law suffered a cardiac arrest yesterday and had to be admitted right away. She is in a coma right now and needs care around the clock. Fresh out of the hospital a couple of days ago, the infection from a wound she had surgery on spread across her entire body, which caused her to go into shock. The doctors do not know how her body is going to react to the medications. She's smiled throughout her life and has never given up on anything she wanted. She seemed perfectly fine yesterday until the cardiac arrest. Please pray for her...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ###'s mother-in-law who has suffered a cardiac arrest and is now in a coma. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician and nothing is beyond Your power. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body.

Father, Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that You would bind up her wounds and heal her completely. We ask that You guide the doctors and medical staff with wisdom and precision as they care for her.

Lord, we also ask for strength and comfort for ### and the entire family during this difficult time. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May they feel Your presence and find peace in Your promises.

We pray that her body responds positively to the medications and that her health is restored swiftly. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
