Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, humbly lifting up the prayer request of Remor. Lord, we acknowledge that You are a just and righteous God, and Your Word assures us that the wrath of God abides on those who do not seek Your mercy. We pray for Remor, who is seeking help and understanding in regards to Your punishment of sinners.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom to help Remor comprehend Your ways. Your Word reminds us that it is a righteous thing with You to withhold Your blessings from those who refuse to ask for them. We pray that Remor may come to understand the importance of seeking Your forgiveness and mercy through prayer.
Lord, we ask that You open Remor's heart to the truth of Your Word. Help them to realize that prayer is not a burdensome requirement but a natural duty of a creature to its Creator. May Remor recognize the simplicity and power of prayer as a means to approach Your throne of grace and receive the gifts You have prepared for them.
We pray that Remor will not lean on their own understanding or hope in their own efforts for forgiveness. Instead, may they come to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Help them to cast their soul, with all its sins, unreservedly on Christ and to rest solely on His work, righteousness, and merit as the ground of their hope for forgiveness.
Lord, we ask that You grant Remor the assurance of Your forgiveness and the peace that surpasses all understanding. May they experience the joy of salvation and the freedom that comes from knowing that their sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus.
We also pray for all sinners who have not yet come to know You. May Your Holy Spirit convict their hearts and draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they recognize the urgency of seeking Your forgiveness and the eternal consequences of rejecting Your offer of salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
