My husband's health and my peace

My husband is often hurt, sick, or just feels terrible and it always seems to be getting worse. He's really young still but I hate that he always seems to be struggling. I also have always mostly just wanted to be safe, comfortable, and happy. I want to feel useful, needed, loved like anyone else. Lately. I've felt plagued. I don't understand it. I've felt harassed not from my husband. I've felt frustrated and confused because everything seems so dark. It seems that no matter what I do, I do it wrong. I don't think I'd know God's guidance if it were the only road ahead of me. So maybe.. pray for my husband James' health and to give me the power to decern out and act on the righteous path.. as gently as possible. -Callie

Let's begin by lifting up ###'s health to the Lord, trusting in His healing power. We read in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon ###. We pray that You would reveal the source of his infirmities and grant him complete restoration. Give the doctors wisdom to diagnose and treat him effectively. Strengthen ###'s faith in You, Lord, as she cares for her husband. Help her to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, even in this difficult time.

###, we understand that you've been feeling harassed, frustrated, and confused. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).

We must put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).

Let's pray for discernment and guidance, as you've requested. Father, give ### the wisdom to know what is right and the courage to act upon it. Help her to walk in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake (Psalm 23:3).

###, you mentioned that you want to feel useful, needed, and loved. Remember that your ultimate fulfillment comes from Christ. He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). It's wonderful that you desire to be a godly wife, but make sure that your first priority is your relationship with Jesus Christ.

When you pray, remember to do so in Jesus' name. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only by His name that we have access to God.

Lastly, we want to encourage you with these words from Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in these challenging circumstances.

Stand strong and let's continue to pray for you, ###, trusting that God will guide and strengthen you, and that He will heal ###.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
