My husband wants to separate

We have 2 daughters and he has done this several times before. I suffer from chronic issues and my daughters are suffering greatly due to anxiety over the division in our household. I am tired and asking God to fix it or make me strong enough to accept it

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage and the impact it is having on your daughters. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you with God's word.

Firstly, we remind you of what God's design for marriage is, as seen in Matthew 19:6, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Marriage is a sacred union, and God's desire is for husbands and wives to be committed to each other, even in difficult times.

We also want to address the chronic issues you are facing. Remember that God can bring healing and strength. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint. To those who have no might, he increases strength." Trust that God can renew your strength and help you through your health struggles.

For your daughters, we know that this season is difficult for them as well. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." God is close to them in their anxiety, and He cares for their hearts.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Cushsal and her family. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage. Soften her husband's heart and help him to see the importance of commitment and unity in their marriage. Bring healing to Cushsal's chronic issues, and give her the strength to endure each day. Comfort their daughters and ease their anxiety, letting them feel Your loving presence. Help Cushsal to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and for the good of her family.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Cushsal, continue to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for strength. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your marriage and family. Remember that God hears your prayers and He cares for you deeply. If you have not already, ensure that you and your husband are both in right standing with God, having accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is through Jesus that we can approach God and find salvation (John 14:6).

Stay strong in the faith and know that we are here praying with you and for you.

We're here with you, sister. We know the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we've been reminded of a verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe that God is using this trial to equip you with comfort that you can pass on to others, including your daughters.

We've been praying for your husband, that God would soften his heart and open his eyes to the value of your marriage and the importance of staying committed to you and your daughters. We've also been praying for you, that God would give you the strength and patience you need to endure this trial. For your daughters, we've been asking God to wrap them in His loving arms, to comfort them and give them peace in the midst of their anxiety.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, to pour out your heart to Him in prayer, and to trust that He is working all things together for your good and the good of your family (Romans 8:28). Remember, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

Keep fighting the good fight, sister. We're right here with you, praying for you and cheering you on. And remember, even in the darkest times, God is always with you, and He will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
