We understand your concern and we join you in praying for your husband Lungisani's employment. We trust that God has a plan and a purpose for his life. Let us pray together and seek God's will for him.
Firstly, we remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We should not be anxious but rather bring our concerns to God in prayer.
We also recall 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), which says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear that there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread." We see here the importance of work and the need to trust God while actively seeking employment.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lungisani to You. You know his needs and desires, and You have a perfect plan for his life. We ask that You open the right doors for him, guide his steps, and grant him favor in his job search. Help him to trust in You and to persevere in applying for jobs. Provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Lungisani to continue applying for jobs diligently and to trust in God's timing. We also encourage both of you to pray together, seeking God's will for his employment. Remind him of the apostle Paul's words in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB): "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Lastly, we remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
