Disciple of Prayer
My Husband Taofeek is working a 12 hour day with litttle to no rest breaks at a restaurant job cleaning and lifting pots and pans. He is experiencing chest pain when he is working non stop. We pray that God will remove chest pain. We are also working on his US Visa so he will find easier work when he comes to the US.

We are truly concerned about the health and well-being of your husband, Taofeek. Let us first address the issue of his chest pain. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is important to care for it as such. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We pray, dear Lord, that You would heal Taofeek's chest pain and grant him strength and endurance. May You guide him and his employers to find a better balance between work and rest. We also pray for adequate medical care to ensure his health and safety.

However, we must also address the importance of seeking God's will in all things, including work and immigration. While it is understandable to seek better opportunities, it is crucial to trust in God's plan and timing. As it is said in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding the US visa, we pray that if it is God's will for Taofeek to come to the US, that the process would go smoothly. But above all, we pray for God's will to be done, and for Taofeek and you to trust in His plan.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and pray in His name.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Taofeek to You, asking for Your healing touch on his chest pain. Guide him and his employers to find a better balance between work and rest. We also ask for Your will to be done regarding the US visa. May Taofeek and Contricka trust in Your plan and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)

Joining other people in prayer gives your prayer more power

God says that if two people on earth agree about anything they ask He will do it. Matt.18:19

He puts it this way:

Matthew 18:19
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

I will be praying in agreement with all of your prayers from now on.

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
