We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's battle with cancer and his upcoming surgery. We stand with you in prayer and belief that God is the ultimate healer.
Let's remember that God's word tells us, Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:13-15 WEB.
First, we need to ensure that your husband has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to God, If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is battling cancer and facing surgery. We ask, Lord, that You touch his body, heal him, and make him whole. Guide the hands of the surgeons, give them wisdom, and let this surgery be successful.
We also pray for his wife, that You grant her peace, strength, and comfort during this challenging time. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake her.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith in You would grow stronger. Let this be a time where they experience your love, grace and power in a tangible way.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In this time of need, cling to God's promise that I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Trust in His faithfulness, and rest in His love for you both.
Please keep us updated on his progress so we can continue to pray and support you both through this journey of faith.
