Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is experiencing deep pain and heartbreak. Lord, you know the situation she is facing, how her husband of 30 years left her for someone else. We pray for healing and restoration in her life.
Father, we ask for your comfort to surround her during this difficult time. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds . We pray that you would mend her broken heart and bring healing to her soul. Help her to find peace and strength in you, knowing that you are with her every step of the way.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance as she navigates through the process of letting go and moving on. Give her the strength to release any bitterness, anger, or resentment that may be holding her back. Help her to forgive her husband and the other woman, just as you have forgiven us .
Father, we pray for a renewed sense of purpose and identity in our sister's life. Show her that her worth and value are not determined by her marital status, but by her identity as your beloved child. Help her to find fulfillment and joy in serving you and others.
Lord, we lift up the upcoming cookout for her mother-in-law. We pray for peace and grace as she navigates this gathering. Give her the strength to attend if she feels led, but also grant her the freedom to make the best decision for her emotional well-being. Surround her with supportive and understanding loved ones who can provide comfort and encouragement.
Father, we ask for your divine intervention in her family. Bring healing and restoration to the relationships between her and her sons. Help them to understand her pain and offer their love and support. May they be a source of strength and comfort to her during this challenging time.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for a renewed hope and trust in your perfect timing. Help our sister to surrender her desires and plans to you, trusting that you have a greater purpose for her life. Remind her that you are working all things together for her good .
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
