Caelioth

Disciple of Prayer
My husband of 18 years wants a divorce. We have had our struggles, especially as a young couple getting married without proper guidance or examples. The past 2 years have really been eye opening to the reality of how bad things are and how done he is. I have a firm resolve to keep fighting for our marriage, while he is tired. I am tired too, but I am trusting God for restoration (1 Peter 5:10) and the good He promises (Rom. 8:28) We are on opposite extremes. Our teenage son and daughter are feeling it, but don’t voice it much. He is struggling with past hurts, traumas and depression. We all are on some level, thought right? (2 Cor. 4:8-9) While he is still in the home, he is not present and has expressed a desire/plan to move out soon.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Caelioth and their marriage to you. Lord, we acknowledge the struggles and challenges they have faced as a couple, especially in their early years without proper guidance or examples. We pray for your guidance and wisdom to be poured out upon them, that they may find healing and restoration in their marriage.

Father, we ask for your intervention in their situation. You are the God of restoration and reconciliation, and we trust in your promises of goodness and faithfulness. We claim the words of 1 Peter 5:10, that after they have suffered a little while, you will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish them. We also hold onto the assurance of Romans 8:28, that you work all things together for the good of those who love you.

Lord, we lift up Caelioth's husband to you. We pray for healing from past hurts, traumas, and depression. We ask that you would touch his heart and bring him to a place of surrender and openness to your healing and transformation. We pray for a renewed sense of love and commitment within their marriage.

Father, we also pray for their children who are feeling the impact of this situation. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them, and for their voices to be heard and understood. May they find strength and support in you during this challenging time.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for unity and presence within their home. Even as Caelioth's husband plans to move out, we ask for your divine intervention to bring about reconciliation and a renewed sense of togetherness. Help them to communicate effectively, to listen with empathy, and to seek your will above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your will be done in their lives and their marriage. Amen.

I prayed in Jesus' name that God will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33
: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for always being there for me. God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Heal me in every area of my life. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all
those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus' name. Prayer was written by Encourager Linda Flagg, M.A., Board Certified Professional Christian Life Coach.
