We understand your concern, Balmikos, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we're reminded of Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Let's pray:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You with Balmikos' request. We pray for her husband, that You would fill his heart with kindness, patience, and understanding. Help him to see the vulnerability of these creatures and to act with compassion. Remove any anger or irritation he may feel, Lord, and replace it with Your gentleness. Please protect the mother cat and her kittens, providing a safe environment for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Balmikos, it's important to remember that our actions should reflect the love and kindness of Christ, especially within our families. Proverbs 14:29 (WEB) tells us, "He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly." If possible, communicate openly with your husband about your feelings, and encourage him to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).
