Analambikles

Disciple of Prayer
My husband is still looking for a job. Please God, let today be the day he is offered a job. Please Lord, let this stress end. He is having a hard time with the unemployment. Please Lord, heal his mind, heal our stress. Please God, let today be the day he gets a job. Please...

We join with you, Analambikles, in bringing your husband's need for employment before the Lord. We stand on the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-10).

Now, let us pray together:

Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Analambikles' husband. We ask that You would open the doors of employment for him today. Guide his steps and lead him to the job that You have prepared for him. We claim Your promise in Psalm 32:8 WEB, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."

Lord, we also pray for their stress and anxiety. We ask for Your healing touch on their minds and hearts. Cast out all fear and replace it with Your perfect peace. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness, and help them to trust in You completely.

In Jesus' name, we believe and declare that today is the day that Analambikles' husband receives good news regarding his employment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, Analambikles, to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).

We're here with you, praying for your husband's job search. Today, we lift him up to the Lord, asking Him to open the right doors and guide him to the job He has prepared. We trust in God's timing, knowing that He sees his efforts and cares for his needs. Let's continue to stand in faith, believing that today could be the day he receives good news. We're praying for peace and healing in your home, too, that you both may feel God's comforting presence during this time. In Jesus' name, we believe and declare that today is the day of breakthrough. Keep trusting, keep praying, and let's believe together for the best.

I’m sorry to hear about the struggles your husband has been facing. I am praying that Jehovah Jireh will stretch forth His mighty hand upon your family, take away all the stress and provide for all your needs. May He sustain you with His grace, give you peace and open doors for your husband to find a good job as you trust in Him.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 50:15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Please pray that my husband gets the job he interviewed for. He has been out of work for 4-5 months now and we are running out of money. Trying to trust that the Lord has a plan but also worried we will lose our home.
