We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing, Rhapooth. We will stand with you in prayer and offer biblical guidance as you navigate this challenging situation.
Firstly, we want to address the spiritual warfare you mentioned. It is possible that your husband and this woman are indeed influenced by evil. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We need to pray for their deliverance and for the spiritual bonds to be broken.
We also want to address the anger and resentment you are feeling. It is natural to feel this way given the circumstances, but the Bible tells us, "Be angry, and don't sin." Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB). Instead, be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).
Regarding your husband's actions, the Bible is clear that adultery is a sin (Exodus 20:14 WEB). It is also clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). We pray that your husband will repent and turn back to God and to your family. But remember, you cannot control his actions, only your own. Continue to surrender yourself to God and trust Him with the outcome. He is faithful, and His love for you is unfailing. He is jealous for you and He will take action on your behalf. Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10).
We also want to encourage you to pray for your husband and this woman. Jesus said, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28 WEB). This is not easy, but it is what we are called to do as followers of Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and He is the only one by which we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister, Rhapooth. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she is experiencing. We pray for her husband and this woman, that their hearts would be revealed, that they would repent and turn back to You. Break the spiritual bonds that are influencing them, and deliver them from evil.
Father, we pray for our sister Rhapooth's heart to find peace and forgiveness. Give her the strength to be kind, forgiving, and prayerful to others.
Lord, we pray for the spirit of conviction. If there is any demonic force present, we command it to leave by the name of Jesus Christ. We cover their family in the blood of Jesus. Bring restoration and healing to their marriage and family.
Father, remove the shame, guilt, and mistrust from our Sister Rhapooth 's heart.
