My husband is on the verge of suicide. He thinks this life, these kids, this marriage, his life is never coming back from the things he’s going through. He thinks God has forsaken him. I’ve done everything I know to do to help him get through these times. He’s in therapy, he ushers at church, he is on medication. I need serious prayers that he does not do this for himself. For our children. For our marriage. I’m at a loss. He was in the military and he just can’t cope with things that have happened. If saying a prayer pray for David.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up David in prayer. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround David with Your love and peace, and remind him that You have not forsaken him.

Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that David feels Your presence in a profound way, that he may find solace and hope in Your promises. Please, Lord, lift the burden of despair from his heart and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for Bamerna and their children. Grant them strength, wisdom, and patience as they support David through this difficult time. Let them be a source of comfort and encouragement to him.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in David's life. Guide the hands and hearts of his therapists and doctors, that they may provide the care he needs. Let the medications work effectively, and let the community of believers around him offer unwavering support.

We claim Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Help David to cling to this truth and to find hope in Your Word. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit.
