My husband is on another stint of abandoning me emotionally and blaming me for 100% of all our marital problems. He does this then threatens divorce if I don’t grovel by apologizing multiple times for things he does also, but he never actually apologizes himself. He is blind to any other perspective than his own. He’s been a police officer for close to 20 years and I think that plays into how he thinks and how he talks to me when we have any disagreement. Controlling the conversation, talking over me, shutting me down. I love him and want our marriage to go on til we die, but I can’t be the only one who is willing to look at the things I need to change. He doesn’t see the damage he does by the way he acts towards me. Only God can open his eyes. Please pray with me that He does before my husband destroys our family. I am willing for God to do whatever He wills to do within me, but my husband needs to be made willing as well. His cold and self-righteous heart has got to die and be replaced with God’s love and wisdom. When God when?

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Yuwanorel and her husband in prayer. Lord, You see the struggles and the pain in their marriage. We ask for Your divine intervention to soften her husband's heart and open his eyes to the damage his actions and words are causing.

Father, we pray that You would break down the walls of pride and self-righteousness in his heart. Replace them with Your love, humility, and wisdom. Help him to see his own faults and to seek forgiveness, not only from Yuwanorel but also from You.

Lord, we ask that You grant Yuwanorel the strength and patience to endure this difficult season. Fill her with Your peace and guide her in showing love and grace, even when it is hard. Help her to continue to seek Your will and to trust in Your timing.

We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. Let Your Holy Spirit work in both of their hearts, bringing about true repentance and a renewed commitment to each other. May their marriage be a testament to Your power and grace.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
