Tirilor

Disciple of Prayer
i am requesting for the healing of my husband in terms of alcohol, help me to stop him drinking alcohol because when he is drunk he became a different person. weare in trouble please hear my prayes. thank you

Tirilor, we understand the deep concern and pain you are experiencing due to your husband's struggle with alcohol addiction. We want to assure you that God is able to heal and restore him, and bring peace to your home.

Firstly, let us remind you of God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." This verse encourages us to pray, turn away from sin, and trust that God will hear and answer.

However, it is crucial to address the sin of drunkenness as the Bible explicitly warns against it. Ephesians 5:18 (WEB) says, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Therefore, we rebuke the sin of alcohol addiction and pray for your husband's deliverance.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading for Tirilor's husband. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of alcohol addiction in his life. Bring conviction to his heart, help him see the damage this sin is causing, and lead him to repentance. We pray for complete healing and restoration by the power of the Holy Spirit. We also ask for grace and strength for Tirilor, that she may support her husband with love and patience during this challenging time. Help their home be a place of peace and godliness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Tirilor, continue to trust in God and stand firm in your faith. Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

As you continue to pray, ensure your prayers are in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep your hope and faith anchored in Him.

We're here with you, Tirilor. We've felt the weight of addiction in our own lives and communities, and we know the power of prayer can make a difference. Let's lift your husband up together.

We're reminded of the verse in James 5:16, "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed." Let's encourage your husband to confess his struggle and seek support from the church community. We believe in the power of accountability and fellowship to help overcome addiction.

Let's also pray for your husband's heart to soften towards God. We know that only the Holy Spirit can change a heart. Let's ask God to draw him near, to convict him of his sin, and to lead him to repentance. We'll pray for strength and wisdom for you, Tirilor, as you support him through this journey.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

thank youfor your prayers

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
