My husband, Craig has ongoing pain and urinary tract problems.

Any prayers would be welcome. My husband has been having problems for over 3 years. The doctors do not seem to be able to help him, including not giving him pain medication that works. Regular non-prescription pills work better than his prescription. He has been having to self-catheterize in order to drain urine (at least 3 times per day) for many many months, and he has daily pain and often blood in the urine. He is getting so worn down by it and finding it very hard to face this type of life. I am also getting very very worn down. His (understandable) negativity is really wearing on me and I find myself getting angry inside. I understand his frustration but hate it when is is grumpy and miserable to me!! Sometimes I have a Lot of anger inside myself towards him, but I don't show it. I try to be calm and understanding.
We could both really use prayers. Thanks to all who are part of this wonderful group.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pragorphos and her husband to you. Lord, we acknowledge that her husband has been facing health challenges for over three years, and the doctors have been unable to provide a solution or effective pain medication. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his body. Your word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord."

Father, we pray that you would bring relief from the pain and discomfort her husband is experiencing. We ask that you guide the doctors and medical professionals involved in his care, granting them wisdom and insight to find the right treatment and medication that will bring him comfort and healing. Lord, we also lift up Pragorphos, who is feeling worn down and overwhelmed by the situation. We pray for strength and endurance for her as she supports her husband through this difficult time. Help her to remain calm and understanding, even in the face of frustration and negativity. Your word encourages us in Ephesians 4:2 to "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

Father, we ask for your peace to fill their hearts and minds, replacing any anger or resentment with love and compassion. May their relationship be strengthened through this trial, and may they find comfort and solace in your presence. Your word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
