Thank you for reaching out to us in this time of need. We want to lift you both up in prayer and offer you the guidance and comfort found in God's Word.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that all our struggles can be taken to the Lord in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your husband's mental health, we encourage you to support him with love and understanding, and to seek professional help as well. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) reminds us that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to the brokenhearted, and He can bring healing and restoration.
As for your financial issues, remember that God is your provider. In Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), Jesus says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this newly engaged couple to You. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their hearts and minds. Please be with the husband who is experiencing a mental breakdown. Comfort him, strengthen him, and guide him to the help he needs. We also ask for Your provision in their financial struggles. Help them to trust in You and seek first Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to keep your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Stand firm in your faith, support each other, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
