My husband and I want to get divorce of 10 years. We don’t have kids together, we both have grown kids except I have one 16 year old still living at home with us. My marriage is toxic! I live with mental abusive from my husband my whole marriage. I have dealt with physical abuse from him as well years ago. I have stayed in the marriage because I was a single mom for so long and had to work a dead end job because I didn’t finish high school no college education and when I was married to my first husband I didn’t work for 20 years I was a stay at home mom. Then I divorced him got pregnant with another man at 50 years old, we never married. I struggled so bad for 10 years. Had to work at a gas station for minimum wage under. Demon possessed awefull mean boss because I didn’t have to work nights and weekends because I had no one to watch my son. My parents and grandparents are gone. I only have my sister and she doesn’t have any money. Her and her family were struggling as well. So I had no help . I did get some child care help from the government and a free gov phone and food stamps, thank God it really helped! But I had an old broken down car with no air in the summer in Alabama when it got 100 degrees in the summer I had to drive around on it with my baby and we were sweating everyday in that car and it broke down all the time as well. I met my husband he told me he would take care of me and my son and I wouldn’t have to work. I was thrilled!!! But didn’t know it had all these awesgul strings attached! We have a terrible marriage and we do not love each other at all! We actually hate each other. My husband screams and yells and cusses at me every 3 months says he wants a divorce , and this has been going on for 10 years. We both want out but I’m scared. I have a car but it’s in his name Snd we owe a lot of money on it. I couldn’t afford the car payments . I don’t have a job , the house we live in is falling apart my husband has just let it go. So when we sell it we want get any money from it we will probably owe money. My prayer request is that I’m seeking Gods hand in all this. I don’t know what to do I don’t know how to start all over again from scratch. I want Hods will for me his guidance! I have been praying about this for years and I believe it’s time for me to leave this toxic marriage! My 16 year old that lives with us hates my husband . Because he yells and cusses at him all the time. For the last 2 years he just quit talking to him! It’s not because my son is bad disrespectful it is solely because my husband is jealous of him. My son will not come out of his room for fear of ny husband so he just stays in his room it is so sad! My son is such a good boy. He makes good grades never gets in trouble at school. Actually he has autism and all his teachers and principal rave about him and say they wish all the kids that go to that school were as good as my son! I have a grown daughter but she can’t help me out as she is broke she is trying to make it own her own after battling a drug and alcohol addiction for years! I actually have had to help her out by signing a lease so she could get her first apt. I have a grown son lives in Seattle most my family lives in bham al my oldest moved to Seattle a few years ago he is wanting me and my son to come stay with him and he would help me out. I really don’t want to live so far away from my daughter sister and nieces and nephew in Birmingham al but none of them have money to help me! So now I’m praying about what to do! Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Areled and their current situation. Lord, we acknowledge the pain and toxicity that exists in their marriage. We pray for healing and restoration in their relationship, but we also understand that sometimes separation and divorce may be necessary for the well-being and safety of individuals involved.

Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for Areled as they navigate through this difficult decision. Give them clarity and peace as they seek to make the best choices for themselves and their 16-year-old child. Provide them with the necessary resources and support during this transition.

Lord, we pray for protection over Areled from any form of abuse, whether it be mental, emotional, or physical. Surround them with your love and peace, and help them to find healing and restoration from the wounds they have endured.

We also lift up the financial concerns that Areled has expressed. Lord, you are our provider, and we ask that you open doors of opportunity for employment and financial stability. Provide for their needs and help them to overcome any financial burdens they may face.

Father, we pray for a resolution to the car situation. If it is in your will, we ask for a favorable outcome that allows Areled to have access to reliable transportation. Guide them in making the necessary arrangements and decisions regarding the car and any outstanding debts.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for Areled's overall well-being and strength during this challenging time. Surround them with a supportive community of friends and family who can offer encouragement and assistance. Help them to find peace and hope in you, knowing that you are always with them.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Rhonda Erwin in prayer, a woman who has faced many challenges in her life and is now seeking guidance and strength in a time of great need. We pray for Your divine intervention and wisdom to guide her steps as she navigates the complexities of her current circumstances.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6

We pray for Rhonda's safety, well-being, and courage as she contemplates leaving a toxic marriage and starting anew. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind as she seeks Your will for her life.

"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." - Psalm 9:9

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Do we love and forgive our spouses as Jesus loves and forgives us?

I can assure you that Jesus is very real! Hell is very real (Lake of Lava)! Sometimes if we really want something from Jesus then we need to read and study about how to get Him to take care of that. Sometimes we think we have prayed enough but maybe we just haven’t prayed the right way.

Read the book of Hosea in the Bible KJV for promises from God/Jesus for our marriages and our families. This brought my wife back to me more than once...

In Jesus put a hedge around my marriage, around my husband, turn away other lovers, restore us unto You and restore us unto each other in Jesus! All for Your Glory Lord Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

We should always love and forgive especially our spouses as if it is ourselves standing before Jesus. This brought my wife back to me a few times in such a way that she actually still thinks I was the one that sabotaged her but I know differently.
