A hedge of protection around my marriage……….



“Ask God to help you discern the evils of this world so that through your prayers a hedge of protection can be built to grow and sustain your married love”

Temptation and Bad decisions, and flirting with sin are running rampant God. As a believer, it is becoming harder and harder to be the light in a universe and world of darkness. Today I pray for a peace and patience to endure, beyond what my natural eyes may see.  I need your help! This is not only an ASK, SEEK, KNOCK, moment in prayer, but this is a plea and intercession for our world. Marriage was created by you so long ago, no congressional committee or judge & jury needed, you alone, destined man & woman to a covenant forever bond dedicated to love to one another forever. 

Thank you for the love that I have for my husband/wife and the love that we are building as husband and wife.  We live in a world where Divorce is celebrated, marriage is more of a convenience than a forever commitment. Keep me humble and walking in humility always trusting the “Truth” of your holy word to summon and transform me into all that you created me to be. Use me to help encourage and uplift those around me who may feel as if their marriage is no longer popular. Remove any distractions that keep me from hearing your voice of instruction, and hold me accountable for anything in my life that does not represent you God.  Guide me towards the assignments you strategically guide me towards that hold the love that I share with my husband/wife at all times. I believe and trust that it’s time. Father, it is time for those who are in covenant Marriage to stand-up and begin to look different. Time for the love shared between Husband and Wife to be respected as the covenant vows you anointed this sacred union to be. Your word says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12) Many marriages have succumb to worldly temptations and distractions. Help me to get back in alignment with all of my priorities and make my marriage first and foremost, outside of my intimate relationship with you, Father. My marriage may sometimes, fall dormant and complacent, and even pushed towards some of the world’s temptations. 

Drive out any ideas, or feelings of doubt so that the discussion of divorce will not arise. The power of marriage that my husband/wife and I share, is gaining momentum in the Heavenly Realm and I declare this day and believe that together, “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18) I also declare that in addition to our own, Marriages are loosed in this moment.  Husbands & Wives hearts are being softened as I speak this prayer, and Wives & Husbands are being delivered from the bondage of selfishness this day. Marriage, Godly marriage, is your creation, and I know that whatever is created by you Father, is good. Take our Marriage and establish a wall of protection around it! That we may abide in the spirit as Husband and Wife, and not desire to answer or entertain ANY lusts of the flesh, or temptations from the world, In Jesus Name ~Amen
