My husband and I divorced this past March. We had a very toxic marriage. We are believers. We both have gone through a lot of counseling. Neither one of us thought we would ever get back together. This past week God has put it on my heart to go to him and ask if he would believe with me that God could do a miracle in our marriage for our kids, but also just because that’s what God wants, he wants to keep the family together and it will glorify him greatly. He initially said he is not there. I know he has dated another woman. But I am praying that God with a huge miracle and intervention and change his heart, and give him eyes to see what God can do… and I would bring his whole family back together in one unit. We have five children who have really struggled from this divorce.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lirlith and her prayer request for her broken marriage. Lord, we acknowledge that their marriage was toxic and that they have both gone through counseling. We thank you for the healing and growth that has taken place in their lives.

Father, you have put it on Lirlith's heart to approach her ex-husband and ask him to believe with her for a miracle in their marriage. We pray that you would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the possibility of reconciliation. Help him to understand the importance of keeping their family together for the sake of their children and for your glory.

Lord, we ask for a supernatural intervention in their situation. We pray that you would bring about a radical transformation in their hearts and minds. Remove any barriers and hindrances that stand in the way of reconciliation. Pour out your love, grace, and forgiveness upon them, enabling them to forgive one another and rebuild their relationship.

We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. May their love be rekindled, and may they experience a renewed commitment to one another. Give them the wisdom and strength to work through their past issues and build a healthy and thriving marriage.

Father, we also lift up their children who have been deeply affected by the divorce. Comfort them, Lord, and bring healing to their hearts. Help them to understand that you are a God of restoration and that you can bring beauty out of brokenness.

We declare your promises over this situation, Lord, for you have said in your Word, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" . We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think .

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
