My husband and I are separated and we have been friends since we were kids. He is a gentle man and I always had so much respect. He is now in a spiritual crisis and I just found out Saturday he is having an affair. She lives farther away but has children and the dad wants to mend the marriage. And I want to heal our marriage for our daughter. Please pray that Satan loses grip on my husband and he comes back to his family. This is extremely out of character for him!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts for ### and the marriage that is currently facing trials and separation. Lord, we know that You are a God of reconciliation and healing. Your Word says in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously. We lift up this marriage to You, asking for Your divine intervention and restoration.

Father, we acknowledge that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but You have come that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that Satan loses his grip on ###’s husband. We ask that You remove the scales from his eyes and soften his heart, bringing him back to his family and to You, Lord. Let him remember the love and respect that he and ### have shared since childhood.

Lord, we ask for Your healing over the wounds caused by this affair. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of infidelity and ask for a spirit of repentance and renewal. We pray for the other woman involved, that she may find peace and healing in her own life and that she may seek Your will above all.

Father, we pray for strength and wisdom for ### as she navigates this difficult time. Give her the grace to stand firm in her faith and to be a beacon of Your love and forgiveness. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Grant her the wisdom to know how to support her husband and to fight for their marriage in a way that honors You.

We also lift up their daughter, asking for Your protection over her heart and mind. Let her feel Your love and comfort during this time of uncertainty. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Be close to this family, Lord, and mend their broken hearts.

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete restoration and healing. Amen.
