We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing with your husband and your home. Firstly, we must address the elephant in the room: your husband is living with another woman and seems to refer to her as his girlfriend. This is a sinful situation and must be addressed. The Bible is clear that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is a relationship with a spouse, not another boyfriend or girlfriend. Living with another woman while still married is adultery, and it is a grave sin in God's eyes. We must take this situation seriously. We must pray for repentance and a change of heart for your husband.
Let's look at what the Bible says about adultery and marriage:
"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrews 13:4 WEB
You are right to pray for the enemy, which is in your home. The enemy is not the other woman, but the spiritual forces of darkness that are influencing your husband's decisions and actions. We must pray for his deliverance and for the restoration of your marriage which has been defiled.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 WEB
Let us pray for you and your husband:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in a desperate situation. Lord, her husband has allowed another woman into their home and is living in adultery. Father, we cry out for his heart, that You would convict him of his sin and draw him to repentance. We name this sin for what it is adultery; and we stand against it. We command the enemy to flee from their home and their marriage in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage and their home, and we ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten or destroyed.
Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You would give her strength and guidance during this difficult time. Help her to walk in Your will and to seek You first. We pray that she will be able to move back into her home and that her husband will return to live with her as he should. We pray that their marriage will be restored and that they will both draw closer to You through this trial. We ask that You turn this situation around for their good and Your glory.
Father, we also pray for the other woman, that You would reveal to her the sin that she is participating in and that You would draw her to repentance as well. We pray that she would come to know You as her Lord and Savior and that You would guide her out of this sinful situation.
Lord, we know that You hate divorce, so we pray for a miraculous restoration of this marriage. We ask that You would turn your husband's heart back to his wife and turn this situation around for Your glory.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to trust in the Lord during this difficult time. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord's. He is fighting for you and He is mighty to save.
"Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.... Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD...." 2 Chronicles 20:15,17 WEB
