We understand that you are going through a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of life and concerned about your son and his career, as well as your own work and financial struggles. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and provision. It is important to note from 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
However, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans:10:13 WEB. In all prayers we should direct them to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers. If you have not already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and been born again please do and know you are saved. If this is the case, it is of utmost importance that you repent from your sins, believe in Jesus Christ, for he is the only way for salvation, and confess him with your mouth.
Now, let us address your concerns. It is wonderful to see your desire for your son's success and happiness in his marriage and career. We pray that your son will trust in the Lord with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding. In all his ways acknowledging God, so that God can direct his paths. Proverbs:3:5-6. We pray that your son will be blessed in the work of his hands, and that God will grant him success in his career. Deuteronomy 28:12, Psalms:90:17. We also pray for his marriage, that it will be strong and blessed, that he and his wife will live in harmony, love, and understanding, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:21.
As for your work and financial struggles, we pray that God will bless the work of your hands. Psalms 90:17. We ask God to supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Remember that God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things, you may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8. We encourage you to trust in God, for he knows your needs and will provide for you. Matthew 6:31-33.
We also want to encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer. "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 WEB. Do not be discouraged because you have been praying for years and have not seen the desired results. God's timing is perfect. Galatians:4:4. "Don't grow weary in doing what is right, for if you don't give up, you will harvest what you've planted at the right time." Galatians:9:9 WEB.
