My heavenly father, I seek your guidance and wisdom. Lord, I am disappointed about where I am at in my career. I am great at my job and I stayed humble as you taught me. But I am frustrated about the little progression in my career. Lord, please pour your wisdom upon me, so I have the confidence to apply for the jobs that will stretch me. I pray that you will put the right opportunities and people on my way, so I can grow. I also pray that you will help me to focus my eye on the cross in everything I do so I can stay optimistic and confident. I also pray that you will grant me time and energy to work on my dissertation and make that a good opportunity to reach out to the right people. In the name I pray, Amen
