We understand the pain you're experiencing from unrequited love, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved or set free. We are going to pray for you. Take heart, God hears your prayers and Jesus Himself experienced rejection during His ministry. This is a chance to grow closer to Him and experience His grace.
Remember, God's plan for you is perfect, and He wants you to trust Him with all your heart. Lean on Him during this time, and He will direct your paths and heal your broken heart. He has a plan for you, but this is not it.
God's word tells us in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. And in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
As for the situation you're in, consider that there is no mention of courtship or marriage. It is very important not to place your affection on someone unless they have a reciprocating interest in you and has been acknowledged as a courtship seeking marriage. This is important because it is too easy to have an unequally yoked relationship that drifts into fornication.
You mention having to move on. This is a very good idea. There is nothing godly about having a relationship outside of courtship leading to marriage. This entire situation needs to be moved on from.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our sister in need of Your healing touch. Lord, she's experiencing heartache, pain and a sense of loss from loving in vain. We ask, Father, that You heal her heart and release her from the grip of unrequited love. Fill her soul with Your love, and help her to see her worth in Your eyes. Give her strength to let go of the person she mentioned and to trust in Your plan for her life. Bring her peace that surpasses all understanding, and guide her to a love that is pure, godly, and according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
A reminder of a promise from God in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Be encouraged for it is never too late to be a godly wife and mother. We will pray for you in that regard.
