We understand that you're going through a struggle today, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life. It's commendable that you're calling on the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. The Bible also does not use hashtags, %'s, or other symbols. Be sure to avoid these in your prayers.
Let's address the issue of you asking Jesus not to let you do something. It seems there might be a temptation or a struggle you're facing. We want to encourage you to be specific in your prayers, as God knows your heart, and you can openly talk to Him about your struggles.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. They are facing a struggle today, Lord, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Help them to resist temptation and to walk in Your will. Give them the strength and wisdom to make godly choices today. As Your word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.' We know Father this is applicable to this day. Jesus, guide them through this day, and help them to glorify Your name in all they do. Amen."
We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of your faith. Remember, God is always with you, and He is faithful to help you overcome every temptation. Stand firm in His promises, and don't hesitate to call on Him at all times.
If this issue is a struggle with sin, we want to remind you of God's promise in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Turn to God, confess your sins, and receive His forgiveness and cleansing. He loves you and wants to help you live a life pleasing to Him. Stay strong in the faith, and remember that God is always on your side.
