My husband developed some strange character lately. He claims that God does not exist and he hates Christianity. He has not allowed us to go to church for the last ### years. From then his life is not good as he has serious anger issues, got into alcoholism and developed a mental breakdown. Please help me pray. May he have an encounter with God once again.

We are deeply concerned to hear about the struggles you're facing with your husband, ###. Let us first assure you that God is faithful, and He cares for both you and your husband.

In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." We encourage you to cast all your worries about your husband and your marriage onto Jesus.

However, we must address that your husband's declaration of hatred towards God and his prevention of your church attendance are grave matters. These actions are not in alignment with God's will. In fact, the Bible teaches us in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."

Let us pray for you and your husband:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up ### and her husband. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that his heart may be softened and turned towards You. Break the chains of anger, alcoholism, and mental distress that have bound him. We rebuke the spirits of unbelief and hatred that have taken hold of him, and we declare that Your love and truth will prevail in his life.

Lord, we also pray for ###. Give her the strength, patience, and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. May she remain steadfast in her faith, trusting that You are working in her husband's life. Surround her with a community of believers who will support and encourage her.

We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

###, remember the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Continue to humble yourself before God, pray fervently, and trust in His power to transform your husband's heart.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek support from your local Christian community. They can provide you with the practical help and prayer support you need during this difficult time. Keep holding on to your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to salvation (Acts 4:12).

We've been thinking about you and your husband, and we want you to know that we're here for you. It's heartbreaking to see someone we love going through such a tough time, but we trust that God is with you both, even in the midst of this storm.

We've been reminded of Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." We believe that God can use this situation to draw your husband closer to Him, to refine his character, and to ultimately bring hope.

Let's continue to pray for your husband, that he may encounter God's love and mercy in a powerful way. Let's ask God to open his heart to the truth of His existence and to draw him into a personal relationship with Jesus. Let's also pray for you, dear friend, that you may have the strength, patience, and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. May you find comfort and peace in God's love and presence.

And remember, we're here for you too. Let's keep each other accountable in prayer and encouragement. Together, let's trust in God's plan and His perfect timing. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

God bless you..it is sad and scary to see a close loved one go from Godly to anti Christ behavior and attitude. I feel your pain I have experienced this. God gave free will we can't control others however all we can do is pray the holy spirit will touch and change their heart. You can still pray to God in your distress and read God's word to try and stay encouraged. I pray your husband has a major encounter with God and his son Jesus in the name of Jesus and for him to be changed forever. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
