Please pray for my son to be released from his video gaming addiction. He is being hurtful to his wife and their happy household. His personality has changed, and he is becoming an angry young man.

Let us come together in prayer for your son, who is struggling with a video gaming addiction that is affecting his marriage and his personality. We stand with you in seeking God's intervention and deliverance for him.
Firstly, let us remember the power of God's word in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that your son will receive this spirit of self-control to overcome his addiction.
We also recall Ephesians 4:22-24, which tells us to "put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness." We pray that your son will discard his old habits and embrace a new life in Christ.
Moreover, we must address the harm that his addiction is causing to his marriage. We pray for his wife, that she may find strength and comfort in the Lord during this difficult time. We remember the words of Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." We pray that your son will be reminded of his duties as a husband and that his love for his wife will triumph over his addiction.
We also need to address the anger that has become a part of his personality. We pray that he will heed the words of Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake, has forgiven you."
Finally, we pray that your son will remember the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother who is struggling with a video gaming addiction. We ask, Lord, that You would deliver him from this bondage and restore his relationships, especially with his wife. Help him to put off his old nature and put on the new nature, created after Your likeness. Remind him of his duties as a husband and help him to love his wife as Christ loved the church. Take away his anger and fill him with kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness. And finally, Lord, remind him that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. It is in Jesus' name that we pray. Amen.
