My husband and I have been together 11 years and he has battled addiction all of that due to this we had to live separately but still continue in our marriage even though it’s been so difficult I have grown deeper in my relationship with Jesus however my husband just out of the blue has now got clean and told me he has left me isn’t in love with me or loves me and wants a divorce he just wants a relationship with God I have spent the night in prayer and comfort from the Lord but I feel I need prayer from others my husband believes we made a mistake getting married but I am in the place that Through God's love we can restore this marriage by growing deeper in relationship with Him we can learn to love and serve one another please help

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage. Let us first assure you that God cares deeply for you and your husband, and He desires to bring restoration and healing to your relationship.

We stand with you in prayer, agreeing that through God's love, your marriage can be restored. As it is written in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart." Divorce is not God's will, and He can help you both to rekindle the love and commitment you once had.

However, we must also address that your husband's desire to leave the marriage and his belief that it was a mistake goes against God's design for marriage. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), God says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don’t be unfaithful."

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith and deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ. Your husband's desire to have a relationship with God is commendable, but it should not come at the expense of your marriage. Pray that God softens his heart and helps him understand that a strong marriage is a reflection of Christ's love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her husband to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage. Touch their hearts, Lord, and bring them back together, stronger and more united than ever before. Help them to see that with You, all things are possible, including the restoration of their marriage.

We also pray for our sister's husband, that You would soften his heart and help him to see the value and importance of his marriage covenant. We pray that You would grant him a spirit of wisdom and understanding, that he may know and fulfill Your will for his life and marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Continue to put your trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Stay steadfast in prayer, and we believe that God will honor your faith and restore your marriage. Be encouraged by the words of Isaiah 43:1-3 (WEB), knowing that God is with you and will never forsake you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
