My ### has fallen out of love with me

I am in so much pain. My husband has been distant for over a year, we’ve been trying therapy. I am terrified that the love he used to have for me is gone forever. His mother passed away a year ago, she was very sick for a long while. I thought his distance was due to grief. I know he hates that he’s hurting me. He believes in Christ, and I think that he would have asked for a divorce already if not for that. Lord, do you see me? Do you see my broken heart? Lord how do I have grace like yours? How do I continue to love someone who rejects me?

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is experiencing deep pain and heartache in their marriage. Lord, you see the struggles they are facing, and you know the longing in their heart for their husband's love and affection. We lift up this situation to you, knowing that you are the God who can heal and restore relationships.

Lord, we pray for their husband, who has been distant for over a year. We ask that you would touch his heart and bring healing to any wounds or grief he may be carrying from the loss of his mother. Help him to find comfort and peace in you, Lord, and guide him to seek your wisdom and guidance in his marriage.

Father, we ask for your divine intervention in their therapy sessions. Give their therapist wisdom and insight to address the underlying issues and bring about healing and reconciliation. Soften their husband's heart and help him to see the pain he is causing his spouse.

Lord, we know that it can be challenging to continue loving someone who rejects us. But your Word reminds us in Matthew 5:44 to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. We ask for your strength and grace to fill our anonymous friend's heart, enabling them to love their husband unconditionally, just as you love us.

Help them to find solace in your presence, Lord, knowing that you see their broken heart and understand their pain. Remind them of your promise in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed love between our anonymous friend and their husband. May your peace and grace overflow in their lives, bringing them closer together and closer to you.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
