Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts heavy for Bizmirtha's grandson. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." Lord, we cry out to You now for deliverance and healing for this young man.
Lord, we know that addiction is a powerful force, but we also know that Your power is greater. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray that You would strengthen Bizmirtha's grandson to overcome this battle with drugs. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and set him free.
Father, we ask that You would bring godly friends into his life who will encourage him and lead him closer to You. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Surround him with positive influences who will help him grow in faith and make wise choices.
We also pray for a transformation of his heart, Lord. Ezekiel 36:26 says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Change his heart, Lord, and draw him closer to You. May he find his identity and purpose in You alone.
We lift up Bizmirtha and the entire family, asking for Your peace and strength during this difficult time. Help them to trust in Your plan and to continue to pray fervently for their loved one. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing."
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
