Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family during this time of loss. We thank you for the life of their grandpa and for the ### years of marriage he shared with their grandma. We pray for comfort and strength to surround the entire family as they grieve the passing of their beloved grandpa.
Lord, we ask that you would wrap your loving arms around ###'s grandma, providing her with peace and solace in the midst of her sorrow. May she feel your presence and experience your comforting touch during this difficult time. We pray that you would be her source of strength and that you would bring healing to her heart.
We also lift up the rest of the family, Lord. May you grant them the strength to support one another and to find comfort in their shared memories of their grandpa. Help them to lean on you and to find peace in knowing that their grandpa is now in your loving presence.
Father, we know that you are the God of all comfort and that you are near to the brokenhearted. We ask that you would pour out your love and grace upon this family, bringing them peace that surpasses all understanding.
