My granddaughter husband is a bully. They have 2 kids and he was never taught to clean the house, says it's a woman job, so she has to clean up after all 3. Mil texts son behind her back complaining about her then texts dil behind his back complaining and cursing him because she wants to control what the kids do and where they go. Most of the time husband sides with his mother. My granddaughter was raised in church and husband and now mil go to the same church but it is a horrible situation. He never helps her, always fussing at her, wants everyone to think he's the best person but chews her out all the time. Mil threatens to call DCS if they say anything to her that she doesn't like. Mil is the most negative person I've ever know. Me and my husband both work in the church all our lives. Prayers for this to change or a way out for Abigail.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Abigail and her family to Your loving care. Lord, You see the struggles and the pain that Abigail is enduring in her marriage and family life. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this difficult situation.

Father, we pray for Abigail's husband, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the responsibilities and love that come with being a husband and father. Help him to understand the importance of partnership and mutual respect in marriage. Your Word says in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." May he learn to love and cherish Abigail as You intended.

Lord, we also lift up Abigail's mother-in-law to You. We ask that You bring peace and understanding to her heart. Help her to see the harm that her actions and words are causing. May she be filled with Your love and grace, and may she seek to build up rather than tear down. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May she learn to speak with kindness and compassion.

We pray for strength and wisdom for Abigail. Give her the courage to stand firm in her faith and to seek Your guidance in every decision. Surround her with Your protection and peace. Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Be her refuge, Lord, and provide her with the support she needs.

If it is Your will, we ask for a transformation in this family, that they may find healing and unity through Your love. If a way out is needed for Abigail and her children, we pray that You would open doors and provide a safe path for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
