We are truly sorry to hear about the situation your granddaughter is facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, even when we lose our keys! In Philippians 4:6 WEB it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We should bring everything to God in prayer, including this situation. We are called to be anxious for nothing because God is in control.
However, we noticed that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved." Please remember to pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we receive salvation and have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who has lost the keys to her car and home. We ask, Lord, that You would help her find them. We know that You care about every detail of our lives and that You are a God who sees, knows, and provides. Please give her peace during this time and help her to trust in You.
We also pray for her salvation, Lord. If she does not already know Jesus as her personal Savior, we pray that she would come to know Him today. We ask that You would draw her to Yourself and that she would put her faith and trust in Jesus alone for salvation.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Encourage your granddaughter with these words from Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Remind her that God is with her, even in this situation, and that He will help her.
