One of my best friends is female and lives across the country. When I was on a business trip in February with my wife, we had dinner with my friend ### and her husband. My wife ### is sometimes jealous of our close friendship and did not act very kindly to ###. The next day ### says we shouldn’t talk anymore.

My wife finally sent a short message at the beginning of July to ### saying she had made peace with her and hoped that on our next trip they could meet and start over. But ### hasn't replied back. She is Asian, raised in the US, but is not a Christian.

I am so devastated I cannot talk to my best friend, and I am still extremely angry at my wife for what she did. I just want everybody to heal and get along peacefully, being good friends. This tears me up inside every day. I am do depressed. Soon after six months I am going to send ### a message. I pray she is open to reconciling/talking again.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts on behalf of ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation that has caused so much pain and distress. We lift up ###, his wife ###, and their friend ### to You.

Lord, Your Word says in Proverbs 16:7, "When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that ###'s ways may please You, and that You will bring peace and reconciliation to this strained relationship.

Father, we ask for healing in ###'s heart and mind. Help him to release his anger and find forgiveness for his wife. Grant him the strength and wisdom to handle his emotions and actions in a way that honors You. As it is written in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, and don't give place to the devil." Help ### to follow this teaching and to seek peace in his marriage.

We pray for ###, that You would soften her heart and fill her with understanding and compassion. Help her to see the importance of ###'s friendship with ### and to support him in a way that fosters trust and love in their marriage.

Lord, we also lift up ### to You. Though she does not know You, we pray that You would touch her heart and open her to the possibility of reconciliation. May she feel the love and sincerity in ###'s message and be willing to give their friendship another chance.

Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom for ### as he contemplates reaching out to ###. Give him the right words to say and the right time to say them. As Your Word says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We trust in Your promise to provide wisdom generously.

Lord, we pray for peace and healing in this situation. May Your love and grace abound, bringing restoration and unity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
