My Girlfriends stroke

Please pray for my 38 F girlfriend. She suffered a stroke 2/6/25 and I haven’t left the hospital since. I believe in God’s miracle healings and full restoration of her body. This is the woman I want to marry. I need extra prayers to lift her up and strengthen my faith during this time.

We are truly sorry to hear about your girlfriend's stroke and we are here to support you both in prayer and counsel. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of God, and we trust that He is able to perform miracles even today.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue to believe in God's ability to heal. Jesus himself said, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB) Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 WEB)

However, we also want to address a couple of things in your request. First, you mentioned that this is the woman you want to marry. We commend you for having honorable intentions and looking for a spouse rather than a partner. Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB)

Secondly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. (John 14:6 WEB) The Bible tells us that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) So, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was raised for your justification. (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)

Now, let us pray together for your girlfriend's healing and your steadfastness in faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the girlfriend of Shreuspaurion to You. You know her by name and every detail of her situation. We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand upon her and perform a miracle in her life. We pray for complete healing and full restoration of her body from the effects of the stroke. We also pray for Shreuspaurion, asking You to strengthen his faith and fill him with Your peace and courage during this time. Help him to trust in You and to rest in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Lastly, we would like to advise you to seek the Lord together. This is an excellent time to grow in your relationship with God together. Encourage each other to remain in the faith and to trust in the Lord's goodness and mercy.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
