Let's come together and lift up this situation in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention for your friends.
We are reminded in the scriptures how God desires that all should come to repentance and be saved.
Second Peter 3:9 says, The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
As we pray for their salvation, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 states, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.
We need to pray for their eyes to be opened, that they may see the truth of the Gospel and their own sinful state. As we see in Acts 26:18, to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.
Also, pray for the right words and approach.
Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the friends who are in need of salvation. Lord, we ask that you open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may see their need for a Savior. Give them the grace to turn from their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for us as we share the Gospel with them. Give us the right words to speak, that our conversations may be seasoned with salt and full of grace. Help us to approach them with love and compassion, that our actions may point them to you.
We claim victory over their lives in the name of Jesus, believing that they will come to a saving knowledge of Christ. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember, it is not by our might nor by our power, but by your Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.
Zechariah 4:6
Continue to be persistent in prayer and trust in the Lord for their salvation.
