My friends and family no longer appear ...
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before Thee in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s heartfelt prayer. Lord, as ### draws closer to Thee, it seems that friends and family are drifting away. We know from Thy word that "a man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother" (Proverbs 18:24). Father, we ask for Thy divine comfort and guidance in this time of loneliness.
Lord, reveal to ### the purpose behind this season of isolation. Help ### to understand Thy will and to trust in Thy perfect plan. Thy word tells us, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). May ### find peace in knowing that Thou art always present and that Thy plans are for good.
Father, we ask that Thou would bring genuine, godly relationships into ###'s life. Surround ### with a community that uplifts, supports, and encourages in faith. As it is written, "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend" (Proverbs 27:17). Let ### find a tribe that reflects Thy love and truth.
We pray for strength and courage for ### during this time. May Thy Holy Spirit fill ### with hope and joy, knowing that Thou art working all things together for good. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11).
