Hokulea, we join you in lifting up your friend to our Heavenly Father. Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to intercede for our dear friend. We ask that You be with her, bless her abundantly, and open her eyes and heart to Your truth. We pray that she will come to know You as the Way, the Truth, and the Life, as Jesus declared in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Lord, we ask that Your words bring peace to her heart and ignite a desire within her to walk in righteousness. We pray that this Sunday, she will be led to attend church alongside her vice, and that the Holy Spirit will minister to her through the worship and teaching.
However, we must address that the term 'vice' is often associated with immoral or wicked behavior. If this is the case, we pray that Your love and mercy will lead her to repentance, as stated in Romans 2:4, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" If 'vice' was used in a different context, we pray for clarity and understanding.
Lastly, we encourage you, Hokulea, to share the Gospel with your friend, as it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that one can be saved. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Hokulea, continue to be a light to your friend, and trust that God is working in her life. Be patient, loving, and steadfast in your prayers and witness.
