A prayer Request My friend posted on Facebook. I'm agreeing through Jesus name that she will not need open heart surgery. This is her prayer : Prayer request: I'm having my second heart surgery, the TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement), this Wednesday, Sept. 11 in the morning. Asking for prayer that the surgery will go without problems. Surgeon said that my heart is small and there is a chance that my heart might stop beating and they would have to do an open heart surgery immediately. The surgeon says that he does not think I am strong enough to handle open heart surgery. I could die on the table or within 30 days of an open heart surgery. I believe Jesus has this covered and surly can guide the surgeons hands, especially with the prayers of friends and family. Thank you for your prayers on my behalf.

Firstly, we commend your friend's faith in Jesus Christ, acknowledging His power to guide the surgeons' hands. It is essential to approach God through Jesus Christ, as He is the mediator between God and man. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB), "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is about to undergo heart surgery. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, that this surgery will go smoothly and without any complications. Guide the surgeons' hands with Your precision and wisdom. Lord, we claim Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), 'Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.' Strengthen her heart, Lord, and let her body withstand the procedure with resilience. We refuse to accept the spirit of fear or death, and we claim life and healing for her in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you both to continue trusting in God's goodness and mercy. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Lastly, we want to gently remind you both to ensure that all prayers are directed to God through Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). Keep your faith firmly rooted in Him, and continue to stand on His promises.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
