We understand your concern for your friend L, and we are here to support you both in prayer and counsel. Let us align our hearts with God's will and seek His guidance together.
Firstly, it is encouraging that you are interceding for your friend in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend L. We ask that you comfort her heart and ease her anxiety. Help her to cast all her cares upon you, for you care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we ask for your guidance as she searches for new employment. Open the right doors and give her the discernment to know which opportunities to pursue. We pray that you would provide a job that suits her skills and preferences, where she can work in peace and not fear ill treatment from colleagues or superiors.
Lord Jesus, you understand her struggles and fears. Please heal her past hurts and give her courage to face the future. Remind her that she is not alone, for you are with her always (Matthew 28:20).
We also pray for her faith, Lord. Strengthen her trust in you and help her to believe in your good plans for her life. May your light shine through this trial and draw her closer to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It is important to remind L that God has a plan and a purpose for her life, even in this challenging season. Encourage her with Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Rebuking any spirit of fear or discouragement, let us remind her to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. As for the apprehension towards people in positions of authority or backstabbing colleagues, encourage her to forgive and to pray for them, as Jesus instructed us in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
Lastly, encourage L to keep her eyes on Jesus and to seek Him first. As she draws near to Him, He will draw near to her (James 4:8), guiding her steps and providing for her needs.
