My friend Isabella is immensely depressed. She has been stuck living with a mother who neglects her. She has been unable to get work since becoming an adult several years ago, making her feel worthless and desperate, she is able-bodied. She is haunted with memories of rejection and insults she received in the past. She is being drawn to irrational thoughts of herself and is becoming harder to reason with. Pray that she can have a clear mind, find work, and be able to leaver her situation.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Isabella. Lord, You see her heart and the immense depression she is battling. She feels trapped in a situation where she is neglected by her mother and unable to find work, which has left her feeling worthless and desperate.

Father, we ask that You bring clarity to her mind and peace to her heart. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard Isabella's heart and mind.

Lord, we also ask that You open doors for her to find meaningful work. Your Word in Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We trust that You have a good plan for Isabella's life, a plan filled with hope and a future.

We pray that You heal her from the painful memories of rejection and insults she has endured. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, it is written, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." May she embrace her new identity in Christ and find strength in Your love.

Lord, we ask that You provide her with the resources and support she needs to leave her current situation and find a place where she can thrive. Surround her with people who will uplift and encourage her.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always respect, obey and honor You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. Stop and take the time daily to tell God Thank You. Every morning when you wake up, throughout your day, and before you go to sleep, make it a habit to say, GOD THANK YOU! Tell God Thank You throughout the day for his unexpected blessings, for His love, goodness, mercy, and kindness that He shows toward you. Thank God for the prayers He is answering, God's divine appointments, and all that He is doing in your life and the lives of those you love and care about. Tell God Thank You even when you don’t understand why you are going through the trials, troubles, and tribulations that comes your way. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Tell God Thank You!

This habit of thankfulness and appreciation to God has incredible power! It will change your life.
